The Generative Art Museum presents a new edition of Creative Coding Barcelona, featuring Xavi Tribó, a talk about 5 projects produced by Melt Studio that explores the relationship between the world of audiovisual, marketing, advertising and pixels, bytes and emotions.

→ About Xavi Tribó
Xavi Tribó is recognized in the creative industry for his expertise in research and development and for driving technological innovation in communication, seamlessly merging advanced technology with creativity. His experience spans interactivity, emerging technologies, and real-time manipulation, delivering solutions that transform both the visual and narrative dimensions of creative works. 
In 2024, he embarks on a new professional chapter: Melt—a creative fusion of direction, VFX, and experimental laboratory work.
His most notable clients include cultural institutions such as CCCB and SÓNAR, alongside social organizations like the La Caixa Foundation, Greenpeace, and Vall d'Hebron. He has also collaborated with global brands such as Audi, Heineken, Nestlé, Estrella Damm, and McDonald's. 
His work has earned more than 50 awards, including prestigious honors such as Cannes Lions (with two golds), Eurobest, D&AD, LIA Awards, and the Best Technological Innovation award from the Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries.
Xavi has served as a jury member at renowned international festivals, including Cannes Lions (Innovation, 2016), Next Awards (2019), and El Dorado (2024). He has also been a speaker at major events and conferences such as the Event Innovation Summit, SÓNAR+D, Mundos Digitales, and the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where he has shared his insights on the future of emerging technologies and their impact on the audiovisual sector.

Creative Coding Barcelona is a community exploring the creative possibilities of programming. Its mission is to share knowledge and inspiration about computational art and inspire multidisciplinary collaborations. Creative Coding Barcelona began as an offshoot of Creative Coding Berlin, with both groups sharing similar values and practices. The collective welcomes everyone, regardless of programming experience or technical background. Informal gatherings provide a space for members to showcase projects, discuss topics of interest, and connect with others who share their passions.
