Daniel Eric Carlos Hector Alberto Sabio is a Puerto Rican conceptual new-media artist and creative technologist based in Chicago. His work, spanning VR, live audiovisuals, brain/heart-controlled pieces, and multichannel installations, explores the emotional, philosophical, and spiritual relationships between humans and technology, always with a touch of humor. He has been featured at festivals such as Ars Electronica, SXSW, ISEA, LEV, and DreamHack, and has held residencies including Oculus Launchpad, Berlin Sessions, UNCSA METL, and Art Omi. Beyond creating, he co-founded Art in Tech Atlanta and Volta Laboratory Social Club, and has spoken internationally at venues including Google DevFest, Tate Modern, Chaos Computer Congress, and IAM Weekend.
